Our Dream

Through the hearts of Country Music fans and musicians, there are some common threads: Love of God, family, country and all things simple and good. There came a day last summer when the time was right, the stars aligned and Lucky Blue was conceived. We had already been writing and performing some of our music for nearly a decade, but now was the time that we needed to get back to our Country roots and explore different veins of creativity that would integrate some of our worship and pop/rock song-writing style with main-stream Country Music. The result has been a truly exciting experience for us and we've produced some of our best music to date that not only appeals to the masses, but touches the individual on a very personal level. Our dream is to share some of the most intimate and joyful life experiences with the fans and be a force for positive, quality Country music that will enhance the greatness of the human experience. With high hopes and a whole lot of love, sweat and sometimes headaches, we bring you some of the best Country Music you've ever heard.

Brent Slade

Brent was raised in the once small town of Gilbert, Arizona. He came from a family of singers and has the innate ability to charm a crowd with his warm, genuine personality and amazing voice. His commanding and meticulous presence on stage is just as real in person, which makes him one of the most fascinating people in country music. Early in his youth he started performing and singing all kinds of music, however his true passion was always country. Known for his deep voice, Brent never ceases to amaze with his dynamic range and depth of vocal expression. He has been involved with Mark and Aaron in several projects over the last 10 years during which time he was told by many that he had a true country voice, and thankfully he has now come back home to country music where he belongs to shake things up and raise the bar of excellence.

Mark Baker

Mark has had a passion for music since he was very young. He picked up playing the piano and started writing his own music at an early age. Years later in High School a friend showed him a few things on the guitar and Mark took his song writing to another level. Having been a recording artist and songwriter for years, he has been the go-to guy for countless projects, bringing them to life both technically and artistically. His skills as a musician and a studio engineer have been invaluable to Lucky Blue and his songs bring a dimension of fun and sentimentality to the genre. He truly has a passion for creating quality music and ultimately desires to bring hope and joy to all who listen.

Growing up in Simi Valley California, Mark is a bona fide "City Slicker", but he has always enjoyed country music, and is grateful to be a part of a genre that allows for such great story telling, and has the most genuine down-to-earth fans in the world. Mark has really enjoyed being a part of Lucky Blue. He considers Brent and Aaron to be his best friends, and he looks forward to many years of fun and success with this project.

Aaron Ballard

Nothing beats growing up in a small town. The charm, the simplicity, the neighborly regard and the family-centered focus shared by all is just one of the great things about this country... and Snowflake Arizona. Aaron unexpectedly discovered he had a voice when he joined the Junior High choir and from then on, a love affair began. Over the past 12 years, Aaron has been a very highly sought-after soloist in various genres and countless venues. Country Music was what he grew up on and now he's come back to it in a new and exciting role as a song writer, backup vocalist and keyboard player. For years he has performed with the highest caliber of musicians, but now, the stakes are higher than they've ever been and since the inception of Lucky Blue, nothing will ever be the same. His amazing gifts are perfectly complemented by those of Mark Baker and Brent Slade and together they've produced a sound and a quality of music that is second to none.
